He’s an acting icon, with an impressive list of dramatic roles including Schindler’s List, Rob Roy and Kinsey. But more recently he’s made a name for himself as a gritty action star courtesy of the Taken trilogy, The Grey and The Commuter. Now Irish actor Liam Neeson will be coming down under in the middle of Australian summer to promote his latest film Cold Pursuit.
Neeson will be attending the Cold Pursuit premiere Wednesday 30th January 2019 at Event Cinemas George Street, Sydney. Along with other special guests and local celebrities.
Set in Kehoe in the Rocky Mountains, this ski-resort town tends to be pretty quiet for local police. That is until the son of the town’s snow-plough driver Nels Coxman (Liam Neeson) is murdered at the order of local crime boss Viking (Tom Bateman). Nels is intent on revenge, only problem is he knows nothing about crime or criminal activity, except for what he’s read out of a book. As Nels begins eliminating members of Viking’s crew though, a turf-war erupts with Viking’s long-standing rival White Bull (Tom Jackson) whom Viking believes is responsible. The intensifying conflict between the crime gangs will result in the town’s snow-white hills running blood-red.
Cold Pursuit releases nationally in Australian cinemas from 7 February 2019.
