Track of the Day: Landings “I Believe the Dark” (2019)

Brisbane-based Landings have just dropped their latest track “I Believe the Dark”, and we’re super excited to be featuring it as today’s Track of the Day!

The Aussie duo, consisting of Aidan Hogg and Liam Quinn, are definitely on the rise, after being featured by both Triple J and Pilerats, and racking up nominations at last year’s Queensland Music Awards for previous single Everybody Wants.

This latest track is a great blend of indie and dance vibes, with a move-your-feet beat that’s brilliantly contrasted against lyrics that definitely lean towards something a little darker. Lead vocalist Liam says:

“The track is about dark thoughts and lost love. A different side of you that takes over when you’re left alone.”

Check out the video below – though please be aware of the trigger warning for those of you with photosensitive epilepsy!

Landings are about to make their UK debut, so make sure you get behind this Brissie band sooner rather than later! You can keep up to date via their Facebook and Instagram!
