Interview: Jack Gray (AUS) on his debut EP Nights Like This, his bromance with Dean Lewis and Mackay

Hailing from Mackay, Jack Gray is a 20-year-old singer-songwriter about to drop his first EP Nights Like This. This entirely self-produced body of work is a testament to his talent as a multi-instrumentalist with a voice that would slot right into a track from The 1975.

With a nostalgia-driven combination of electronic production and a soulful voice tackling pretty heavy topics, Jack is a rising star and the industry knows it. Without having released a body of work, the singer has already toured the US alongside Dean Lewis and will soon embark on his own small headline tour up the east coast in June.

We caught up with him to chat about his burgeoning career and latest release Nights Like This.

Want to get to know Jack a little better? He played a round of ‘Tait’s Eight Quick-fire Questions’ so we could learn about his tastes.

Jack Gray‘s debut EP Nights Like This is out May 31st.
