Celebrated symphonic video game concert Distant Worlds: Music from Final Fantasy will head to Melbourne this August for a single magical performance.
Featuring music from numerous Final Fantasy games by long-time series composers Nobuo Uematsu and Yoko Shimomura, with music direction by Grammy-winning artist and conductor Arnie Roth, this will be a really special night for fans and one you won’t want to miss. Based on Roth’s previous involvement in games concerts — he has been involved with three other Final Fantasy shows (Dear Friends, More Friends and Voices) as well as PLAY! A Video Game Symphony — you know the series you love is in extremely safe hands.
The last time Distant Worlds came to Australia was in 2017, playing to a full house at Sydney’s ICC arena and has previously delighted crowds in Perth and Brisbane.
This latest, single performance is set for Saturday, August 24 at Melbourne Arena. Tickets go on sale this coming Friday, May 10, via Mjrpresents.com.
