Unmapped is Australia’s new luxe-adventure company for the thirties and fourties crowd

As popularity continues to grow for small group tours, new lux-adventure company Unmapped has stepped onto the scene to champion solo travellers in their 30s and 40s. Founded by Australian Jennifer Gaskin, Unmapped will attempt to slide in the oft ignored spot between the 18-30 and 50+ demographics, tightening focus on “active adventure, foodie experiences, and quality accommodation”.

“I was taking trips each year with a group of friends [and] people would comment on how lucky we were to have friends to travel with, as once you reach your thirties, your number of single and dependent-free friends starts to dwindle”, explained Gaskin. “When I looked into it there were lots of tour companies for 18 – 30’s who want to party and don’t really care where they sleep”.

Authenticity will sit at the core of Unmapped’s itineraries, so you can expect all local guides, all types of culinary experiences from street food to fine dining, and 4 or 5 star conveniently located boutique hotels. A mix of physically active excursions, cultural tours, and free-time will round it all out, with an emphasis on exploring new destinations in a sustainable way.

“The only criteria we strictly abide by is that you are kind, open-minded and ready to connect with your fellow travellers”.

Unmapped Travel’s first departures are in September 2019 and they have an introductory offer with the first 6 bookings on each tour entitled to $200 off their tour price.
