This hotel just broke the world record for most Michelin stars under one roof

The guiding light of Michelin stars have been luring people to memorable meals for decades now, but never before have so many of them been clustered under the one roof. With the recent unveiling of the Michelin Guide 2019 Hong Kong – Macau, one hotel has proudly set an impressive global benchmark for having the most stars to be found in the one property. That hotel is the ritzy Four Reasons Hotel Hong Kong, which will undoubtedly see a surge in international and local diners flocking to see what the big deal is.

The hotel’s dining precinct includes the world’s first three Michelin starred Chinese restaurant in the world, the Cantonese experience of Lung King Heen, which has maintained its positioned for the eleventh consecutive year and thrives under the current guidance of Executive Chef Chan Yan Tak and Restaurant Manager Jacky Cheung.

Next up is French restaurant Caprice, another three-starred dining experience led by Chef Guillaume Galliot, who came on board less than two years ago, and Restaurant Director Stephane Rabot.

Then, of course, you have the first ever overseas expression of Tokyo’s highly sought after Sushi Saito by legendary sushi master Takashi Saito. The two-Michelin starred sushi experience comes only eight months after the restaurant’s opening under the skill of Chef Ikuya Kobayashi, who sticks true to Chef Saito’s delicately balanced Edomae-style sushi.

“The Michelin Guide award is one of the greatest recognitions a restaurant can receive”, explained General Manager and Regional Vice President Christoph Schmidinger. “It is a testament to the dedication of our chefs and service teams in providing the most exceptional experiences for our guests. The elevation of Caprice and the addition of Sushi Saito lets our guests from all over the world know that when they visit Hong Kong, the world’s finest cuisines can be found executed at the highest level, all under one roof”.
