Track of the Day: Oh Deliah “April Sun” (2019)

Self described “quiet old soul” Oh Deliah (otherwise known as Becky Althorp) recently released her debut EP These Old Dreams, and if single “April Sun” is anything to go by, it’s a indie-pop dream!

Listing Laura Marling, Cat Power, Regina Spektor and Keaton Henson amongst her influences, Oh Deliah grew up in the Adelaide Hills, armed with her parents’ vinyl collection, filled with artists like The Beatles, Crowded House, and Simon & Garfunkel.

The end result is a sound that’s melodic and dreamy, powered by tender vocals.

Take a listen to the hauntingly sweet “April Sun” below!
