Track of the Day: Lorelei “I Am a Road” (2019)

We have a lovely dreamy track today courtesy of Lorelei. Lorelei is comprised of Claudia Schmidt (Betty and Oswald, Brightness) and Arlen McCarthy. I had been lucky enough to see Betty and Oswald live a number of times, and was always taken with the vocals of Claudia. It is great to see her re-emerge in this new incarnation.

The song is so lush and  gorgeous, it’s like being enveloped in an enormous fluffy cloud of aural warmth and joy. This is the first single off an upcoming EP recorded at Parliament Studios by Lachlan Mitchell. We look forward to hearing more off this release.

Have a listen, this is a road worth taking.
