Track of the Day: Didirri + Ro, “Tea Stains” (2019)

We are thrilled to have as the Track of the Day, ‘Tea Stains’ a duet with Didirri and Ro.  We are even more stoked to be releasing this stunning video for the track.

This is a gorgeous understated track of unsaid truths and repressed feelings. Didirri, originally from Warrnambool in Victora, and Ro hailing from Margaret River in WA, find themselves in the thriving Melbourne musical community these days. It was eighteen months ago that they unexpectedly found themselves together writing this song, when equipped with just a pedestal fan, a beat-up bass and some empty cups of tea.

“We wrote this a summer and a half ago on a cheap beat up acoustic bass. Didirri’s first single ‘Blind You’ had just been uploaded and we didn’t know what was going to happen. It was nice to unexpectedly bust out a collab song that was fun and quirky.”

Watch and listen to the beauty herein…..
