Photo Gallery: Oh Sees + Orb – The Factory Theatre, Sydney (19.02.19)

The Oh See’s have long had a reputation for being a formidable live experience. At the Factory Theatre last night in Sydney it was a no-brainer to see why.
Setting up the stage after the support Orb finished, the dual drum kits were brought right to the centre of the front of the stage. It was an omen for the set which was about to be unleashed. They were loud and perfectly in sync with the searing guitars of front man and primary creator, John Dwyer.

It was a maelstrom of drums, of guitars, and a fantastic concoction of psychedelia, punk, garage rock and more. The audience moshed hard. John Dwyer prowled and owned the stage – with extended versions of his creations, yet impressively tight with the rest of the band. It was a raucous and brilliant gig.

Bruce Baker risked life and limb in the mosh-pit to bring you these photographs.
