New shows added for Fleetwood Mac’s Australian tour

Following last week’s massive announcement of a national arena tour for the new-look Fleetwood Mac, the band have unsurprisingly began to fill in the glaring gaps in their Australian schedule by adding a few new shows.

Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne now have one new show each, added in response to what has no doubt been high demand for one of the greatest rock bands of the 20th century. This will be their first time showing off Fleetwood Mac’s new line-up, which includes Crowded House frontman Neil Finn, who replaced Lindsey Buckingham after the core member “left” the band last year.

The band’s full line-up now consists of Mick Fleetwood, John McVie, Stevie Nicks, and Christine McVie along with newcomers Mike Campbell and Finn, all fresh off a massive North American tour which saw them play over 50 shows.

On welcoming the new line-up, Mick Fleetwood said that everyone is “thrilled to welcome the musical talents of the calibre of Mike Campbell and Neil Finn into the Mac family”.

“all the hits that the fans love, plus we’ll be surprising our audiences with some tracks from our historic catalogue of songs”, he added. “Fleetwood Mac has always been a creative evolution. We look forward to honouring that spirit on this upcoming tour”.

Tickets for all dates will go on sale from Friday 25th January at 12pm local time (Sydney and Perth) and 1pm local time (Melbourne and Brisbane). Check out the full updated schedule below.
