Exclusive Video Premiere: Wahoo Ghost “She Wolf” (2019)

Sydney based trio Wahoo Ghost have just released their album The Eighth Door, and we’re stoked
to be hosting the exclusive premiere of the video for the gorgeously bluesy opener, “She Wolf”.

Wahoo Ghost consists of Charli Rainford (vocals/guitar/percussion), Rob Crow (guitar, bass, piano,
producer), and Jarvis Woolley (drums). The band draws on a huge range of influences, crafting a
captivating sound that’s undeniably their own. It’s a little bit dark, a little bit indie, and a whole lot of
cool.

Raunchy and laden with metaphor, “She Wolf” sees singer Charli musing on female sexuality,
ending in a glorious howl that audiences are quick to emulate at live shows. Opening an album filled
with mythical creatures, thought-provoking themes, and killer lyrics, “She Wolf” is described as a
retro psychedelic rocker of a song, and it’s got the video to match.

The brainchild of video producer Maisie Cohen, the clip takes the titular “She Wolf” and makes her
all too real, a predatory werewolf stalking the streets of Sydney’s Inner West in search of her next
victim. She stumbles across a costume party and… well, you’re just going to have to watch the video,
aren’t you?

Be sure to catch Wahoo Ghost at the Koala Lama Hullabaloo on May 18th . The micro festival will take
place at a secret warehouse location in Erskineville. Keep an eye on the band’s Facebook page for
more details!

The Eighth Door is available on Spotify and iTunes now.
