Exclusive Album Premiere: Little Georgia – All The While (2018 LP)

Since releasing their debut acoustic album Bootleg in 2016, Australian folk-rock duo Little Georgia (Justin Carter and Ashleigh Mannix) have captured the ears of many listeners around Australia and the world. Buoyed by some three years on the road, fans ears’ perked up earlier this year when “Yellow Cup” hit the airwaves. The track was the first single to be released off their debut studio album All The While, which will be officially released tomorrow. And today you’re getting your exclusive first listen on the AU.

The album – which has also seen the single “Stoned” release in anticipation for the release – was recorded in La Cueva Recording in Byron Bay, and was produced and mixed by Nick DiDia (Neil Young, Pearl Jam, Powderfinger). Didia also lent his hand in playing some keys, percussion and bass on the album which rounded out the lineup with Oscar Henfrey on drums and Jimmy Staayer on bass guitar.

The album is bursting with the skill, passion and talents of the duo, who have honed their skills on stages all over the world, performing everywhere from the Americana Music Festival in Nashville, to the Port Fairy Folk Festival, Queenscliff Music Festival, and most recently a second consecutive appearance at Byron Bay Blues Festival. Their time on the road has also seen them open shows for Mia Dyson, Ryan Bingham (USA), Jamestown Revival (USA) and The Record Company (USA). And you can hear just how much their live acumen has grown the band into one who can deliver a debut studio album of this quality. None of this stuff happens overnight…
