Strap yourselves in because Music Matters is about to take you on the ride of your life. With 35 astounding live acts from 18 countries taking over the stages from the 7-12 of September, be prepared to discover the sounds of tomorrow.
Appearing at over 80 venues right across Singapore and with the final announcement finally released, this week of music is bound for greatness. Gear yourself up for performances by Japanese rock outfit Amnesia, Santa Barbara born soul, funk and alternative singer Cameron Dettman, Shanghai-based electronic producer CORSAK, four-piece alternative/indie band from Kuala Lumpur Midnight Fusic, Filipino alternative rock band Over October, and the sultry vocals of Joii from Canada.
This year’s line-up also features eight Singaporean artists – Bakers in Space, DJ Ghetto, DJ NashD, HubbaBubbas, iNCH, ORANGECOVE, Retrofocus, and ShiGGa Shay.
With showcases on offer spanning from Made in Singapore making a return at Barber shop in Timbre to the latest addition of Girl’s Night Out, a special shout out to the breathtaking female talent joining the festival this year, and of course The Aussie BBQ, this event is highlighting the brightest and most promising artists from the APAC region and beyond.
